XYRA

XYRA is a conceptual project by Sam Beklik focused on creating multi-universe spaces, where each environment carries its own narrative and character, independent of the figures within it. As a work of spatial design, XYRA explores how spaces can convey meaning and history through their own structures and atmospheres. Inspired by Sarah Kane’s Phaedra’s Love, the project transforms each scene into a unique universe, allowing the space itself to become a storyteller. The core idea behind XYRA is that the spaces speak on their own, carrying layers of symbolism and storytelling. These environments are not merely backdrops but active participants, shaping the audience’s interpretation and experience. Each space has the potential to evolve, revealing new histories through different variations, offering a versatile and immersive journey that transcends the characters themselves.
